Petra is an international student who is graduating college in the United Kingdom. It has always been her dream to travel to the United States, and live and work for a few years. She's always felt that if she really liked it there that she would stay in the United States and possibly settle down and raise a family. So far she has traveled to a few foreign lands as a student, and wants to find employment in the United States. Petra has always been very prepared for every possibility and she knows that she wants her trip to the United States to run smoothly. She is very excited and has begun planning a year ahead of time in order insure safe travel into the United States. She understands that the political climate in the United States has caused many changes and she wants to make sure that she has all of her paperwork in order when its time to enter the country.

The first thing Petra did was make sure that her passport was current and that all of her paperwork was in order for these things. She then began to do research about her green card. She found that at the time she will travel to the United States that there will no longer be any need for a green card. She has began to learn more and more about a new online form called the ESTA form. She is not sure whether this is all of the authorization she will need, because simply filling out one online form seems a bit too simple. She learns browsergames top100 that she will not have to fill out paperwork or mail anything away. She also learns that she will not have to wait to receive anything in mail if she is approved for authorization to travel to the United States. This is an exciting concept, but she realizes that it's possible that she might not be approved for any number of unforeseen reasons. So she decides to apply for her ESTA a year ahead of time to insure that she knows wether she is approved or not. If something happens, and she is not approved, she will have plenty of time to make an appointment with the United States Embassy and Consulate in the United Kingdom and apply for an official visa.

Petra also realizes that she has a two year window to travel to the United States after she has received her ESTA approval. So even if she is approved right now, she has plenty of time to take her trip.

This is the type of attitude you should have about your trip abroad. The political climate has changed in the world, so has the travel climate for international ventures.
