Petra's Story

Petra is an international student who is graduating college in the United Kingdom. It has always been her dream to travel to the United States, and live and work for a few years. The first thing Petra did was make sure that her passport was current and that all of her paperwork was in order for these things. She then began to do research about her green card. She found that at the time she will travel to the United States that there will no longer be any need for a green card. She has began to learn more and more about a new online form called the ESTA form. She is not sure whether this is all of the authorization she will need, because simply filling out one online form seems a bit too simple. Petra also realizes that she has a two year window to travel to the United States after she has received her ESTA approval. So even if she is approved right now, she has plenty of time to take her trip.
